Yey, another sale!

Last night I made a doubble sale on Loddelina - I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw two items dissapear from the shop and reapear in the Sold section...

It tourned out that a friend of mine from Augsburg has purchased the Ola wooly Christmas bag and the Ada harvest print tote! Next Wednesday we have our monthly mamas-only dinner party so I can bring her the bags in person...
Who says Friday the 13th is unlucky day?

Thank you so much, Sabine, Vielen Dank!

A double Etsy feature

Wow, Etsy admin just made my day - they have featured my Love Hope Peace tote in their gift guides under Fresh Emerging Shops and moments ago the tote also appeared on the Front page, again picked out by the Etsy staff. This is the second time Etsy has chosen that bag for the front page... Two features in one day, what an honour - thank you!

New Ada city tote

I've just listed another Ada tote bag, my shop's best selling design (a nice way of saying 'my only sold item so far').
This time I have added an aubergine purple trim on top and a creamy coloured zig-zag trim on the bottom of the black patch. The three vintage buttons are a bit different as well, with one in cream and old gold and another in purple (or is it plum, I never know) with a small flower in the middle.

Hurrah, my first sale!

I checked my Etsy shop this afternoon and noticed an item went missing...

Apparently it has been sold last night to a Californian, who is a big Etsy fan, she has 112 sellers feedbacks so far! Alice bought my ADA large city tote bag and took advantage of the free inernational shipping offer. I quickly wrapped the bag and hurried to the local post office that closes at five on Saturdays...

Thanks, Alice!

Ada on Etsy

I've just listed my new city tote bag on Etsy. Ada is quite a roomy bag with comfortable shoulder straps long (or rather short) enough to be carried also as a handbag.

I took it for a test spin the other day and it is very "user friendly", easy to reach in and get your buzzing mobile phone out before it's too late...
By the way, did you know Germans call mobile (cell) phone a "handy"? Well, most of the times it is anything but that so I've sewn a big enough interior pocket on Ada to put all the gadgets safely inside.

New tote bag Ada

I've finished making this tote last night and have given it a "test wear" this morning to see how it feels....
Ada is a roomy everyday tote, 38 cm (15 inch) high, 33 cm (13 inch) wide with a 9 cm (3,5 inch) wide T-shapped bottom seam and two shoulder straps, 55 cm (21,5 inch) long from end to end. It is made of middle weight printed Scandinavian canvas (yeah, Ikea) lined with black light weight cotton fabric and has one interior pocket. The front is adorned with some trims and three vintage buttons.

I've only managed to snap these two photos of the bag before the battery on my camera went dead - so I will have to finish photographing it later...
