Happy holidays

The school is almost over for my children and today I made little hearts, filled with lavender, that they will take to their teachers next week.

It is also time to tidy up my sewing space, list the most recent bag in Etsy shop and prepare for a short holiday with my family. I will be back soon, with some fresh plans for the new season, hopefully some more yummy fabrics and lots of pictures you can follow in my Instagram gallery.

Šole bo kmalu konec in danes sem za učiteljice zašila majhne srčke, napolnjene s sivko. Zdaj je čas, da malo pospravim šivalnico, objavim najnovejšo torbico v Etsy trgovini
in se pripravim na kratke počitnice z družino. Kmalu se vrnem, polna svežih idej in z novimi kosi blaga, več fotgrafij pa lahko najdete v moji galeriji na Instagramu.

He's here!

Wow, that was fast, my lavender bear brooche made by ememem arrived today from Ireland!

He is as amazing as I have expected and he came beautifully wrapped and accompanied with a thank-you note, a bear candy, an origami swan (to keep the cat company, I guess) and the story behind the bear, hand written and illustrated!

Thank you so much, Emily, I shall wear it always!

Bear with cat

I have a confession to make.

I was browsing through Etsy Treasury lists, promising myself the next one I open will definitely be the last one and then I'm off to bed (as if...), when I came across this wonderfully weird collection of bear brooches by ememem! Looking at the picture you can see their different colours and personalities but wait 'till you've read the story behind the bear, each more amusing than the next.

I had to have one so I quickly snatched this lavender bear, carrying a cat (don't ask).

I can't wait to meet him in person!
