Lovely Clusters catalog

One of the blogs I love to follow is called Lovely Clusters, a place of neverending inspiration, beautiful colours and textures. Each year Rachel from Lovely Clusters publishes two catalogs, carefully selecting and matching lovely items into colour themes.

In the new Lovely Clusters Fall/Winter 2011/12 catalog my zippered pouch got featured in Harvest Orange section - thank you, Rachel!

Just leave the new catalogue out for Santa and you won't be dissapointed this Christmas...

Could you "like" this bunny?

Rachel from Lovely Clusters challenged us to spread the word and get as many people as possible to visit her beautiful web calatogue.
The goal is to get the most "likes" for a single item and I chose my Bella bunny wristlet to run the race for me. So far I have 21 people on Facebook liking the purse, which, thanks to a lovely Etsy customer, got sold just before Christmas. But my bunny keeps on running and with your help it can get closer to winning (the contest ends this Saturday).

So if you have a Facebook account and a like for bunnies, please click "like" under this listing. Thank you!

Lovely Clusters

I decided to advertise my shop before the holiday season so I listed a few items on Lovely Clusters blog.

This catalogue of handmade creations is run by Rachel, who carefully arranges them by category or by colour into - lovely clusters. It is a real joy to click through the pages of beautiful, perfectly matching items, among which you can easily find a Christmas gift.

The Lovely Blogger List

;

Rachel from Lovely Clusters blog, an inspiring place for all things handmade, has started The Lovely Blogger List to help introduce other creative souls to one another.
Here is my contribution, a short introduction for those who don't know me yet:

Damjana ::
Freelance designer of textiles and fashion. Born in Slovenia, married in France, where I live with two children and one sewing machine.
I started making handbags when I realized the most common item in my closet were not shoes, but handbags, totes and purses that I have been buying ever since high school. It was time I started making them myself.

Loddelina ::
The name of my brand came from a nickname I once gave to one of my cats. Many cats and many handbags later I still enjoy sewing and creating. I prefer using solid colour fabrics of different structure and finish and adorn them myself - with embroidery, beads, lace, trims or applique. I love fabrics and will also use printed designs when I can complement them with my own hand work.

I always carry a small compact camera in my handbag so I can quickly capture images that later inspire me, such as nice colour combinations, interesting patterns on leaves and tree barks, a funny street sign...

Lovely Clusters

Rachel, whose blog Lovely Clusters I enjoy very much, has recently given her readers a chance to create a cluster of their favourite things - you can pick out 9 items you think look great together and arrange them in a collage. It's like making a mini Etsy treasury without waiting for the free spot!
A few days ago I proposed my own 3x3 sellection, inspired by snowflakes - and it got published! You can see more of the reader-curated clusters HERE...
